Ex Libris

I've seen a lot of bloggers organising books into various categories. Just wanted to add one of my own - "books that made me want to give the author a big hug" In my case, they would be:
The Mockery Bird by Gerald Durrell
The Golden Gate by Vikram Seth
Confessions of a Common Reader by Anne Fadiman

It gets verse...

Blogging is a pastime quite futile,
Yes, daily logs are mostly puerile,
Exhibitionistic,
Often masochistic
And barely even able to raise a smile!
