Ex Libris
I've seen a lot of bloggers organising books into various categories. Just wanted to add one of my own - "books that made me want to give the author a big hug" In my case, they would be:
The Mockery Bird by Gerald Durrell
The Golden Gate by Vikram Seth
Confessions of a Common Reader by Anne Fadiman

A second post within a week of the first, such blistering pace of blogging. I still haven't figured out a second post and i've been working on it for 22 months.
I added my comment and discarded it here before posting :(
And this two headed nitwit beat me to it!
I wanted to add my own authors to hug (I think that is a really nice figure of speech) -> Wodehouse (and I want to hug Lord Emsworth and Bobbie Wickham while I am at it),Salinger, Fry, ...
The long wait had better be worth it!
Watch this space, can't promise a blistering pace but may need a soapbox every now and then ;)
My eyes are all sore from watching this space
Can I watch something else now?
;)
You need to read more dumbed down literature. These picks are too heavy :-)
Bridges of madison County would be my pick for this category...
